Love this place! Great drinks, great atmosphere, incredible bartenders (especially Michael)! He absolutely knows his craft! We are regulars and love the seasonal offerings as well as the year-round regular menu cocktails.

My fiance and I have been here half a dozen times now and honestly can't say enough good things about it. This hidden gem of a bar is a taste of Seattle, tucked inconspicuously into downtown Monroe. The atmosphere and vibe are meticulously crafted and well done. Both cozy and sophisticated, without being pretentious like many Seattle bars of a similar caliber. This place has a warm and inviting feel, that is in no small part due to the co-owner Michael. Who is both a gracious and welcoming host, but also a top-notch bartender. If you enjoy an old fashioned, you'll find no better in the area than here at the Burnt Barrel. This has quickly and easily become a regular spot for us to come and enjoy a drink after work. And so long as you know what to expect, I can't recommend it highly enough.

Hands down the Best Old Fashioned I have ever had! Both Micheal and Riley are absolutely Amazing at their craft. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. We could have hung out all night. So happy to have such an awesome Whiskey Bar in Monroe.

Wonderful hidden gem in Monroe! Great comfortable setting, like hanging out in a friend's home. It boasts a healthy selection of games available for playing while there. The Mixologist Max was extremely knowledgeable and patient with us, as we are not typically whiskey drinkers. Through our communication he was able to craft us amazing cocktails that were delicious to sip. I will definitely be visiting again, and recommending this place to everyone!!!

Great service, wonderful selection of whiskeys and bourbons. Custom cocktails were delightful and intriguing. Bartender really knows her stuff. Cool laidback atmosphere with old jazz or cabaret style melodies in the background. good for curious individuals to small groups, bar stool tables, bench tables, and couches. Love the "fish bowl" room. Fun, comfortable seating and decor. Games, fun fact books and art add to the conversation and evening. Located in the oldest building in historic downtown Monroe, I loved it so much I joined the Founders Club. :)

This is the most calm, chill, relaxing bar that I have been to. Michael and Rylee are very sweet people and they always remember me when I come in and ask about things that I previously mentioned. I have never met bad company at the burnt barrel and I continue to enjoy coming here even with many other place to enjoy drinking with my friends. If you want a place to drink with great company, and without all the noise, this is absolutely the place to go.
